Writing Write Away is one of several Web site businesses owned by Joelle Steele and Joelle Steele Enterprises, founded in 1983. Joelle Steele is a writer, artist, and publisher who has been selling her products and services online since 1994. She provides editing, copywriting, legal writing, SEO, and editorial and publishing evaluations to authors, advertising agencies, publishers, and Web site owners in the greater Olympia, Tacoma, and Seattle areas, and worldwide.

From 1970 to 1973, Joelle worked as an illustrator and copywriter for an advertising agency. From 1975 to 1978, she worked as a creative director for a book publisher. In 1983, she started her own writing, editing, and books/periodicals publishing business. Her extensive published credits include books, short stories, articles, jingles, poetry, ad copy, Web sites, legal documents, and contributing chapters. On most Saturdays, Joelle teaches all-day classes through extended education programs at various colleges throughout the South Puget Sound. Her classes cover topics such as making a living as a writer, self-publishing, researching and writing family histories, and starting a Web site for your small business.

Joelle has a Bachelor's Degree in Language Arts (a double major in English and Linguistics). Among her acknowledgments and certificates are: Who's Who Historical Society, American Biographical Institute's 2000 Notable Women, Professional Web Site Administrator Course, Professional Publishing Expert, and Advanced Desktop Publishing.
