CONSULTATIONS. I evaluate your publications, Web sites, advertisements, and  marketing materials. I help you correct, expand, and/or streamline your editorial and marketing content to provide your readers, advertisers, and customers with what they most want, need, and expect. I also help your editorial and production personnel improve and enhance their skills individually, and as a unified team, to better serve your needs. I can work with you by mail, E-mail, phone, and/or in-person.

WEB TROUBLESHOOTING & SEO. My services begin where you, your Webmaster, or your Web design firm failed. If your Web pages were never written and coded correctly -- a process called "search engine optimization" or SEO -- your Web site is probably ranked low in the search indexes or is completely invisible to search engines and potential visitors alike. Your conversion ratio (from visitor to buyer) is also probably low. I can rescue your Web site from Internet oblivion by doing all the SEO that should have been done before you even designed your site -- writing always comes first because the Web is completely word-driven. After I finish your SEO, I will also create or edit any of the auxiliary files that you should have, such as robots.txt, RSS feeds, and Google sitemaps.

WRITING & EDITING. I write and edit Web pages, short articles, and ad copy. I do both soft copy and hard copy edits. My basic work philosophy is: simplicity sells; accuracy counts; attention to detail determines quality; and the client's needs always come first. I write/edit for you or your clients, not for my own style, tastes, or preferences. Most of my editorial services are done by E-mail.
