EDITING - BY E-MAIL (SOFT COPY). I will do a soft copy grammatical edit of your short manuscript and make corrections directly into the Word file you send me by E-mail. Maximum length for soft copy edits is 10 pages. Turnaround time: 5-7 work days. Fee: $5 to $10 per page (depending on condition of your writing). Send me your manuscript by E-mail and I will provide you with a free, no-obligation quote as soon as I receive the file.

EDITING - BY MAIL (HARD COPY). [NOTE: As of March 2013, there is a four- to six-month waiting list for book-length manuscripts.] I will edit your completed manuscript and make corrections to that manuscript for you to enter into your file as you see fit. You will also receive recommendations for ways in which your manuscript can be improved to make it more attractive to publishers and readers. All subjects, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, marketing pieces, etc. Turnaround time: approx. 30 days. Fee: $2 to $10 per page. Send me 10 pages of your manuscript by E-mail and I will provide you with a free, no-obligation quote as soon as I receive the file. Please follow my manuscript submission guidelines.

MANUSCRIPT EVALUATIONS - BY MAIL (HARD COPY). I will read and review (not edit) your completed book-length manuscript and provide a brief written evaluation that includes recommendations for ways in which your manuscript can be improved to make it more attractive to publishers and readers. Turnaround time: 30 days. Fee: $450 flat fee. Please follow my manuscript submission guidelines.

WEB SITE EDITING & SEO (SOFT COPY). I will edit, re-write, and SEO (search engine optimize) your Web pages directly onto your Web pages (HTML pages that you send me as attachments to an E-mail). This includes page content and meta tags. Turnaround time: Varies. Fee: $95/hr.

EDITORIAL AND MARKETING EVALUATIONS - BY E-MAIL/PHONE. I evaluate periodicals, Web sites, advertisements, and marketing materials to help you correct, expand, and/or streamline content to provide readers, advertisers, and customers with what they most want, need, and expect. Turnaround time: Varies. Fee: $95/hr.

COPYWRITING - BY E-MAIL (SOFT COPY). I write most ad copy, including display and classified ads, advertorials, brochures, jingle lyrics, and catalog descriptions. Turnaround time: Varies. Fee: $95/hr.

LEGAL WRITING - BY E-MAIL (SOFT COPY). I do legal writing, specializing in simple contracts and agreements, mainly for small business. Turnaround time: Varies. Fee: $95/hr (or less if the contract is generic and I can re-sell it).

Payment is due in full immediately upon receipt of services unless other arrangements are agreed upon prior to commencement of services. Deposits and progress payments are required for most book-length editing projects. Washington state residents must also pay sales tax.
